                       Fall Northeast  Meeting

The September 16th, NE Deanery Fall Meeting was attended by 46 women representing 5 of the 16 parishes in our Northeast deanery.  An overview of what and who is the NE Deanery and why it is important to our Archdiocese was given by Kathy Zweber. The presentation by Debbie Keller, ACCW President of her experience in Kitui Africa and our partnership with Catholic Women worldwide was presented.  Rachel Herbeck from the Catholic Advocacy Network, who is partnering with the ACCW to present “Legislative Day -Women at the Capital 2018” February 22, 2018  gave an excellent presentation on why we are called to become educated on current proposed legislation and then act on political issues that are in conflict with our faith.

The Catholic Advocacy Network is looking for CCW women who would serve as District Leaders at our ACCW Legislative Day - Women at the Capital, February 22, 2018.  District Leaders would help on this day to assist the women when we visit their legislators. * Great Opportunity for your parish CCW Commission Chairperson(s) to volunteer to help and learn more on current issues.
If you're interested in knowing more, please contact Rachel Herbeck at 651-256-7586 or

October CCW Recognition and Clergy Appreciation Activities

Many Councils received a Blessing and Recognition for the many contributions they do at their parish from their Priest at the end of a weekend Mass during the month of October.

In apprecaition of the our Clergy, many councils found ways to do a special recognition from their CCW.   One of the CCW parishes did a spiritual prayer card and had all of the parish join them in offering special prayers for their Priests and Deacon.

Parishoners were invited to write on a flower petal what they would offer in prayer for them, and then they stuck it on the board.  When the Board was done they did a photo of each person and gave it to them with the prayers.
