We will meet at 8:30 AM at the Lakewood Chapel on 3600 Hennepin Ave. S. This chapel is modeled after the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. It is the only building in the U.S. with an authentic mosaic interior and was completed in 1910. Park on the street outside. Carpooling is encouraged. Afterwards we will pray the rosary. There will be time to drive around the cemetery to look at the beautiful monuments. At 10:00 AM we will tour St. Mary’s Greek Orthodox Church, just a few blocks away at 3450 Irving S. Then all are invited to lunch at Curran’s Restaurant at 4201 Nicollet Ave. South (order and pay yourself).
